This fabulous river cruise combines time in France’s unparalleled capital of Paris with beautiful scenery along the Seine River and the picturesque and historical region of Normandy.

Day 1 – Paris, France
Arrive in the City of Light and board your river cruise. Enjoy free time to explore Paris at your own pace—stroll along charming streets, relax at a café, or take in iconic landmarks before your journey along the Seine begins.

 

Day 2 – Vernon & Les Andelys, France
Sail to Vernon, where you can visit Claude Monet’s beautiful gardens in Giverny or explore the grand Bizy Castle, often called “Normandy’s Versailles.” Continue to the picturesque town of Les Andelys, where you may hike to Château Gaillard or enjoy a guided walk through this scenic riverside village.

 

Day 3 – Caudebec, France
Discover the historic Normandy region with options to explore medieval abbeys along the Seine or enjoy a relaxing bike ride through the countryside. You may also choose an optional excursion to Honfleur, a charming harbor town known for its art and coastal beauty.

 

Day 4 – Normandy Beaches, France
Step into history with a guided excursion to the Normandy landing beaches, including Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery. Alternatively, explore British and Canadian WWII sites or experience the region’s traditions with a tasting of local Calvados brandy.

 

Day 5 – Rouen, France
Visit the medieval city of Rouen, known for its connection to Joan of Arc. Explore the historic quarter, see the famous astronomical clock, and admire the stunning Rouen Cathedral, once the tallest building in the world.

 

Day 6 – Conflans, France
From Conflans, choose to visit Auvers-sur-Oise, the village associated with Vincent van Gogh, or tour the elegant Château de Malmaison, once home to Napoleon and Josephine. Optional excursions include the magnificent Palace of Versailles.

Day 7 – Paris, France
Return to Paris and dive deeper into the city’s rich culture and history. Enjoy a guided walk through iconic neighborhoods like the Latin Quarter and Île de la Cité, or take a panoramic city tour featuring Paris’ most famous landmarks. Day 8 – Paris, France
